Here's an interesting special effect using a card button to reverse the pixels of any background object underneath it.
-Create a new card button
-Set show name to false
-Set the auto hilite to true
-Set the style of the button to radio button
-Click on "OK"
-Shrink the button down to its smallest possible size
-Choose the browse tool
-Click on the button (the hi-lite should be darkened)
-Choose the button tool
-Double click on the button to get its attributes
-Set the auto hilite to false
-Set the style of the button to transparent
-Click on "OK"
-Increase the size of the button to say 1/4 the screen size.
-Drag the button over any background object (field, button,
graphic, etc.) and the backgound objects will reverse color.
Anything under the button cannot be selected but it can be seen in reverse. Although I haven't decided how I'll use it, I'm sure someone out there will.
